Toplou Linos Liatiko Red Dry Wine 750ml

Category:

The engraved inscription on the monastic Linos (wine press), built in 1709 by Abbot Kallinikos, is undeniable testimony that the indigenous Liatiko variety was cultivated on the estates of the historic Holy Monastery of Panagia Akrotiriani-Toplou in Sitia. The pressing of the grapes took place in the wine presses, and the monastic wine produced was excellent and renowned.

The tradition continues with the same devotion to this day. This ancient red variety of the Cretan vineyard is organically cultivated and vinified in the facilities of the modern winery of the Monastery, emphatically bringing out its unique characteristics.

An interesting wine from Liatiko, Organically Cultivated, with an intense purple color, finesse, a soft character, and unique aromas of dried fruits, herbs, and flowers with a long aftertaste.
